Andrew Amani is an festival winning screenwriter and director. He recently completed the Master Screenwriting Certificate Program at ScreenwritingU. He takes the craft of screenwriting very seriously having studied at many institutes including Upright Citizens Brigade (Diversity Scholarship Recipient), Los Angeles Valley College, Los Angeles City College (Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Dean's List) and UCLA. He earned his Bachelor's of Art in Theater from Columbia College Chicago and Certificate of Directing (with distinction) from UCLA Extension Film Program.
His produced short, Sumtin' Like 'Dat won Best Student Film at the Los Angeles Film and Script Festival and was an official selection of the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival.
His unproduced script Ethereality is a festival nominee and is now in development as a photographic novel.
